Technology is a big part of the work we do at Your Ideas, especially with changes to our face to face services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Your child or young person will have access to a range of different social platforms to talk to their friends and to us at Your Ideas for our virtual clubs and gaming groups.

At the project we use a wide range of online platforms relevant to modern interests and trends to make sure that we can connect with our young people in a way that they chose,

We use Discord Chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Minecraft Realms, Zoom and Houseparty to keep everyone connected to one another and to what we do at the project.

​

Our staff admin and safeguard activities that we facilitate following strict guidance and our own safeguarding policies and procedures. This is so our young people stay safe and protected during their time in our virtual services whilst having fun with their friends.

However there will be times that your young people will use these platforms in their own communities with their own friendship groups.
